Rip was the 4th show in the order of the 4x4 Production Series at Synchronicity Theatre.  It is described as more of a performance art piece than theatrical piece, as it was a collection of poems with a lot of movement choreography paired alongside it.  Because it couldn't be approached in a typical manner, a lot of the design manifested itself through conversations with the director.  They specifically wanted branches worked into the set, and some lamp stands that could be used for the choreography, as well as a bed.  Lots of practicals of varying heights and looks/sizes were hung, and the platforms were brought back in to aid in making the bed a focal point.
