Chorus of Bears was the 3rd show in the 4x4 Series at Synchronicity Theatre.  Compared to the first two, this show was more abstract and ethereal versus realistic.  The production wanted to take place in more of an abstract, otherworldly location; drawn from mother-earth.  Trees were suggested with fabric swaths that would stretch from ground to grid, maximizing projection surface.  To subtly suggest being enveloped and to push the ethereal side, I included some abstract light structures which I made with wooden bases, chicken wire, and muslin moulded with a stronger version of paper mache'. The faux floor boards came away for this production to reveal the designed painted floor.
